What is the Missouri Watercolor Society?

MoWS is an organization of watercolorists and those who appreciate and support water media.  Its members actively work to create a strong and open fellowship of artists and patrons dedicated to the preservation of watercolor as a major medium.  Although most of our members live in Missouri, membership is open to everyone no matter where they live, nationally and internationally.

The Missouri Watercolor Society recognizes the use of any water based media as long as it is done on paper or a paper product: transparent watercolor, acrylic, casein, egg tempera, gouache and pen and inks.
