2016 MEMBER'S JUDGED EXHIBITION

Creative Space Gallery

1900 Park Avenue

Lafayette Square, St. Louis, MO

December 2nd to December 30th, 2016

Awards Reception

December 4, 2016 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Very large crowds are expected to see the exhibition especially on Sunday, December 11th when the Square will again be hosting its annual Holiday Parlor Tour.  In a normal year, approximately 2000+ celebrate the holidays and take the tour.  The gallery is in the heart of the Square, the center of the Lafayette Square business district and within sight (no kidding) of  seven restaurants.  The tour is from 10 am to 5 pm.  The gallery itself as well as the many restaurants on Park will be hosting holiday parties during the month. Gallery traffic should be wonderful.

SUBMISSION:  Member's may submit up to three works for the exhibition.  There is NO judging for entry.  Any and all water media works on paper will be exhibited and eligible for awards.  The fee for submission is:  $25 for one entry, $35 for two entries and $40 for three entries.  Members may drop off their paintings at my studio in Lafayette Square (1410 S. Park Ave, St. Louis, 63104   314-241-2339) on Nov 21, 22 and 28 from 10 am to 4 pm. Other times by appointment only.  No saw tooth hangers, wire only.  My studio is 100 yds from the exhibiting gallery.

Member's shipping their paintings may ship them to my studio address above to arrive from Nov. 21st thru Nov. 29th.  As usual - NO PEANUTS and return, pre-paid label enclosed.

Please put your name, title of the work, medium and selling price on the back of the painting.  NFS is acceptable but remember the expected crowds.  Please keep your selling prices reasonable. The 1900 Gallery retains 30% of the selling price.

ALSO - if there are sufficient entries from Hannibal, KC and Columbia with no one willing to deliver them I will consider making a pick-up and delivery as I did many times in the past.  As before there will be a charge for doing so however.

AWARDS:  We expect to award significant cash and material awards.  The 1st place award will be $650 - last year's first place award was $400 - and with many additional cash and very fine material awards.  As has been our custom for many years, this year's judge of awards will be our Best of Show winner from last year - Gary Cadwallader.
